«In the beginning, I had my large fine art prints printed in the laboratory. At first they were mostly piezography prints. Since I've been photographing a lot in color, archival pigment prints have been added. My personal highlight was when I went into the darkroom with the laboratory in 2023 to print a Platinum Palladium Edition. No matter how many images need to be produced in the shortest possible time, I can always rely on Laboratorium. They work with such precision and care. Over the years, we have developed such a great working relationship that the Laboratorium knows exactly what the picture will look like in the end and what effect it should have. The fact that there is such a place in Zurich with so much understanding and knowledge of images is unique. It seems to me that the Laboratorium never tires of looking at pictures again and again and where else are the platinum-palladium prints made? I hope the Laboratorium will continue to exist for many years to come and that this skill and knowledge will never be lost. I'm already looking forward to the next projects!»

«Since 2005 I have been working with the laboratory for the digitization of black and white and color negatives KB, 6×6 and 4×5″ for web use, publications (especially my monographs) and for the production of large-format piezography prints for exhibition and collection purposes. In addition, there is the digital reproduction of specific silver gelatin prints and archival materials of various kinds. I appreciate the unwavering friendliness, the highest level of expertise in all areas, an incorruptible eye when assessing test prints and final prints, as well as the continuous endeavor to keep up with the current state of the art and, if necessary, to introduce innovations in a targeted manner and to provide comprehensive information about them. The strict adherence to deadlines and the reliable coordination of processing with other producers involved should also be mentioned.«

«I have been working with the laboratory for 30 years, for Platinum-Palladium Prints, Analog Subject Enlargements/Silver Gelatin Prints and Piezography Prints. I appreciate the quality, the human warmth, the patience and the attention to detail in our collaboration. Also the punctuality, the constant effort to refine the techniques and the continuous commitment to improve the results. I believe and know that this is the best Platinum Palladium photo lab in the world. Our longstanding relationship is a testament to the exceptional quality and constant commitment to excellence.»

«I first met Ursula Heidelberger in the fall of 1990 and have been working with the Laboratorium ever since. Reliability, professionalism, creativity in interpretation, willingness to engage in dialog and also the flexibility offered time and time again have contributed significantly and continuously to the development of my photographic oeuvre, and that means, among other things: Collector satisfaction and resonance in the market. This applies to the classic silver gelatine prints and platinum-palladium prints as well as to piezography prints. And it applies explicitly to the portrait work entitled “501 - Portraitwerk Schweiz. An artistic program”. It was printed entirely in the Laboratorium. The laboratory under the direction of Ursula Heidelberger is a continent in itself.»
