Film processing
-
In the darkroom we develop black and white films by hand - from 35mm film to sheet film.
-
If desired, we can push or pull an underexposed or overexposed film in order to subsequently influence the contrast and density of the exposed film during development. This technique enables the correction of “incorrectly” exposed films, but also the artistically intended manipulation of images.

The contact print serves as an overview of the image and is created as a direct positive from the film using the contact method under the enlarger. Especially for archiving purposes, contact prints offer a good way of keeping an overview of the photographic work. They are also helpful for making an initial preselection of images.
