LVT

LVT

  • With Kodak's LVT process, high-resolution digital data from a camera or a scan can be exposed on a classic analog Ilford FP4+ film (35mm, 4×5', 8×10'), not to be confused with the transfer of digitally produced negatives onto film using the inkjet process. LVT negatives show no pixels, halftone lines or stochastic patterns, but the film grain and have all the properties of a classic black and white film.

    Application examples:

    • Reproduction of digital data in an analog process

    • Digital correction or complex manipulation of negatives

    • Digitization of negatives (e.g. for archives)

    • Copying and providing negatives for further analog processing
