Backlit
Backlit film - image effect through light
Backlit film is a special, semi-transparent carrier material designed for backlighting. Its special property is that it allows light to pass through in a controlled manner, bringing out colors with exceptional brilliance and depth.
When an Archival Pigment Print on backlit film is backlit in a light box, an intense luminosity is created - the image seems to radiate from within. This interplay of material and light creates a unique visual effect: the motif appears physically present and at the same time atmospherically enraptured. The perception changes depending on the lighting conditions - a silent interplay of luminosity, depth and transparency.
